The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both hand tools and power tools. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilise diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems accurately.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools as required.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed on vehicles.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Experience
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge is essential for diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
A valid driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
