Our Client is a new but fast growing accountancy practice based in
Poole/Derby. We operate nationwide providing accounting services to clients the length and
breadth of the UK using technology to deliver that service.
They provide fixed fee accounting solutions to owner managed businesses,
contractors/freelancers and sole traders, purposefully specialising in smaller businesses
where we can really make a difference. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality,

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semi Senior Accountant to
join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting
principles and practices, with experience in preparing accounts, tax returns, and providing
advisory services. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression within a
supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Preparing and submitting statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
● Working with/reporting to a senior accountant here assisting them with their portfolio
management.
● Preparing personal tax returns
● Reviewing client records
● Build towards or take on immediately (DOE) a portfolio of clients and service them to an
excellent standard
● Handling inbound queries from clients, and delivering great client service
● Mentor and support junior team members as required.

We would look for the following experience:
● At least two year's experience within an Accounting firm, or similar
● Studying or working towards, AAT/ACCA or similar.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
● Commercially aware and able to understand the business impact of your role and actions
● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
● Self-motivated and proactive
Desirable:
● Experience with cloud accounting software - Xero and FreeAgent.
● Experience in working with freelancers/contractors and SMEs is also advantageous.
● Knowledge of UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
● Experience in providing advisory services to clients.

Our hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
