Bee Happy Recruitment🐝 are seeking a friendly and professional Night Porter in Eastbourne to join our Clients Stunning Hotel.
40 Hours per week, Live in Accommodation available
Salary £25549 plus £1200 tronc per annum
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of guest services and maintaining a welcoming environment within our clients establishment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest relations, with the chance to develop their skills in a dynamic setting.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and assist with their luggage, ensuring a positive first impression
Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions upon request
Assist with transportation of guests and their belongings within the premises
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of public areas and service spaces
Respond promptly to guest requests, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
Support the front desk team during busy periods, including handling guest inquiries efficiently
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Skills
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
Strong guest service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of local area attractions is a plus but not essential.
