This role requires exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while providing outstanding guest services.
Duties
Coordinate all event logistics, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
Develop event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering tailored solutions.
Manage on-site event operations, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
Upsell additional services or products to enhance the overall event experience.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources for events.
Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events with professionalism and poise.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
Skills
Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Previous experience in restaurants or hotels is advantageous for understanding hospitality dynamics.
Experience in fundraising events is a plus, demonstrating an ability to engage with donors and sponsors.
Exceptional guest services skills to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members effectively.
