Cleanroom Operator
Bee Happy Recruitment are proud to be working with a medical supply company based in Littlehampton.
Your day to day role will be working within a cleanroom assembly areas. Our operators
are required to assemble, test, inspect and package a range of medical devices. Each production area
produces around 30 different products, so, the work is varied and interesting.
Key responsibilities:
- Assembly of drug delivery and mainly single use disposable medical devices and inspection
of moulded parts.
- Inspection and testing of finished products.
- Checking and packing of finished products.
- Following company procedures and work instructions.
- Identifying non-conforming products and/or materials and bring them to the attention of
the room supervisor or quality control inspector.
Key attributes:
- Ability to work well as a team member.
- Good concentration and attention to detail.
- Capable of following instructions.
- A good work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills.
Training:
- Full training will be given for the production processes such as;
solvent bonding, RF welding, UV bonding, leak and block testing, packaging, labelling, sealing
machines as well as a host of other manufacturing techniques.
Shifts, breaks, holiday entitlement and rates of pay:
- Production shifts are 9 hours, starting at 8am Monday to Thursday and 5.5hours on Fridays- £10.90ph
3pm-11pm Monday-Thursday £11.90ph
- There are two 15 minute paid tea breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
This is a temporary to permanent position with the potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks
