We are seeking an experienced Bonded Warehouse Manager to oversee our clients Bonded warehouse operations and ensure the efficient management of our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HMRC customs logistics and warehouse management systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. This role requires effective supervision of staff and the ability to manage shipping and receiving processes within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Manage shipping and receiving activities, including inventory control and order fulfilment.
Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimise efficiency.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to enhance performance.
Collaborate with supply chain teams to improve processes and reduce costs.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless operations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries.
Experience
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within logistics.
Familiarity with AS400 systems and other warehouse management software is advantageous.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
Experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies within a warehouse setting is preferred.
